本書は、とある1人の自閉症スペクトラム障害・アスペルガー症候群と診断された青年の手記をもとに構成されています。
手記には彼の半生とその思いが綴られ、時間が経つにつれ少しずつ成長し変化していく様子が記されていました。
そんな彼をみなさんと一緒に追いかけてみようと思い、二人で作り上げた本です。

I believe that not only parents’ love but also certain communication techniques should be applied to parents-child relationship so that they can love themselves. Owing to such techniques, they will be able to overcome their weakness, make their strong points further greater, and moreover love themselves.
This book was written with the wish that more people understand developmental disorder properly and that people will be more considerate toward those who have the “title” so that all of us can live together comfortably.
Also, I hope this book will help healthcare workers for further improvement of medical treatment and educational therapy.(Epilogue)
